Got his BFA from University of South Carolina USA 1995 and MA from University of Portsmouth UK 1999. Taught animation at universities in 5 different countries on 4 continents . 1994-2003 worked as visual artist, painter and animator . After 2003 worked in animation studios and freelance making numerous storyboards, advertisements, music videos, intros, presentations and short films for TV, cinema, theater, web, various screenings and publishing as illustrator, animator, director, producer and art director. Enjoys designing characters and animating them in both 2D and 3D.

Andrea Rolfes achieved her degree in fine art through the Wits Technichon, South Africa and the Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands . Rolfes is an artist, designer and curator who lives in Johannesburg . Prior to this Andrea lived in the Netherlands, where she practiced and exhibited; also exhibiting in France and Italy . Rolfes artworks often combine drawn, painted, stitched and machine sewn elements . Her work is autobiographical and experiential, exhibiting a fine and fragmented aesthetic approach . Devised technical workflow, created graphics and visual effects for worlds first cell-phone feature film ‘SMS Sugar Man’ in 2005 .
